This Sunday, 6th August…
Well, we won’t be posting 60s or looking at a story - we’ve now made our way through the entire canon!
But we will be having a little celebration, just to give Round 5 a proper send-off and to acknowledge the changing of the guard. I’ll be having a look back at some of my favourite 60s from Rounds 3-5, and will be doing one last discussion post - made up of interesting odds and ends that didn’t quite fit into earlier posts, and anything else that takes my fancy over the next few days.
And Mrs. Hudson will be doing a festive poetry page. Again, she’ll be looking back at some of her favourite poems, and it will be liberty hall in the comments! (N.B. Any breakages must be paid for.) Mrs. Hudson suggests limericks but really you are free to use any form you like. Maybe write a farewell to Round 5? Or write about your favourite canon story or favourite character? Or write a response to one of the 60s in this round? It’s entirely up to you.
Although this will be a kind of goodbye, don’t forget that Round 6 is coming - on both LJ and Dreamwidth.
alafaye will be doing an introduction post on Sunday, 13th August, and then the round will be starting on the 20th. And even though Small Hobbit and I will be taking more of a backseat after this week, we will still be taking an interest in the comm. Also Mrs. Hudson’s poetry page will be moving over to
holmes_minor, where it will appear monthly from September!

Date: 2017-08-04 01:14 am (UTC)And I hope you do join in with the 60s in the new round. Believe me, I am aware that it's quite a commitment writing one every week - but it's always OK to just pop in and out.
But cheering the participants on is lovely too - I shall be doing that myself ^__^
