Wordlessly, the same thick hands that tossed Mr. Warren into the cab shoved him hard out of it. He landed roughly, rolling in the dust of the road and blinking into the angular sunlight at his captors' retreat, his eyes yet unadjusted from an hour blindfolded. Flaxen heath spread around at all sides and Mr. Warren found himself again alone.

I know! I had a hard time getting a good angle for this week, but eventually my mind just settled on an image of Mr. Warren, dusty on the ground in the middle of a road somewhere. Poor guy, indeed! And he doesn't even get to tell his own story, either.

It's fun to highlight small tidbits in these 60s. Glad you liked it.

Thank you! I felt like he deserved some highlighting, since his strange misadventure is mentioned so briefly. Poor guy got kidnapped, and all he gets is a day on the sofa! So I threw 60 words his way. ;)

Poor guy! He must have been so confused, and shaken. This is a nice take on things - it's interesting to see the story from another person's point of view (other than Watson or Holmes).
