Yay! Thank you so much!

I was watching a Doctor Who episode with [livejournal.com profile] grrlpup the other night, and I commented, "That's an awful lot of bare upper lips for the 1881 British Army," and after she expressed appropriate astonishment that the uniform code once required mustaches (she is more accustomed to the contemporary uniform codes that prohibit them), I could only say that I knew "because of the mustache linkspam, it'll take me a while to find it."

And now it will NOT take me a while to find it, hooray!

An absolutely awesome collection.

Thank you so much both for compiling the list, and especially for all your hard work in producing what has become such a very useful resource.

Wow, this is perfect -- so comprehensive and well organized! I am ready to hire Mr. Jabez Wilson to begin hand-copying every subject under the As at least :)

Could I link to this page from my tumblr account? If we can advertise it on tumblr enough that the link starts circulating, I think more ACD writers could take advantage of it as a resource.
