Happy Friday, Sherlockians.
I apologize that I'm posting this so late today. I'm adding in a reminder to my phone to post these earlier.
Most everyone wanted to read the stories alphabetically and
gardnerhill suggested by abbreviation which tickled my fancy enough that that will our reading order. I'll update our profile shortly to list it. I did have an idea for a theme for this round -- for the short stories. Each case, if I recall correctly, carries its own overtone. In my discussion, I aim to give a few words that would best describe the overtone which could then be used for the short stories. Thoughts?
This coming Sunday, we are reading The Three Gables. A client's home and its contents have come under intense study. What does Holmes find out?
If you're new to our community, don't be shy! We read each of the 60 ACD canon stories in a little over a year. Some of the stories are split up given their length. You can have a look at our profile page for the schedule. Each week, the story's discussion begins on Sunday and remains open all week. You can join in with the discussion or write a short 60 word story based on the week's case or just read along with us. Or all three! And you can join us here or on our sister community on livejournal,
sherlock60.
We look forward to seeing everyone this coming Sunday.
