Both thumbs up for Watson being a dilligent student on his own field. :) I liked this in the original text, and I love how you show a little glimpse on Holmes's reaction to that unexpected outcome. He should have foreseen it though, with Watson being not just a doctor, but a very responsible character - and in the end, habits tend to brush off in between old couples friends.
