Hahaha, I'm so agreeing with Watson this time. Though I'm sure that if it was a home telegraphing system, Holmes would love it even more. =P What a sweet little story!

Thanks! I was really struck with this being one of the first stories where they had a telephone... and yet Watson uses the telegraph in the village.
