In order to illustrate as to how the owner of Capleton had hidden his precious loot, I painted Watson's dog a friendly dark spot over one eye. Little did I expect John to find pleasure in this art, and within a week his poor pet changed from brown to blue to a perfectly hideous pink, finally turning into a poodle.
