A/N: I was really struck by the fact that this is the second time in as many stories that Watson wakes to find Holmes at his bedside...


This was the second time Holmes had barged into my bedroom in the early hours. Not that I begrudged him the liberty, but… perhaps there was a more practical solution.

To my pleasant surprise, Holmes was amenable. Now, if he desires to wake me, he need only reach his arm across the bed. And I fancy that he sleeps better.

I can't help but think that he would have a very practical approach, if only to convince Holmes of the wisdom of his position... ;-)
