For posting fics, please use the following instructions:

1. The subject of your post MUST include the title of the canon story your fic is based on. You do not need to include "The Adventure of...", just the main part of the title. If your fic has a title of its own (optional), please put the canon title first, followed by a colon and your title. Example below:

The Devil's Foot: Smoke and Water

2. Your post must include the full text of your fic. Our ficlets are only 60 words long and this community was designed so readers could find all entries to read in one location. If you would like to include a link to a journal entry you may, but you MUST include the full text of your ficlet in posts to this community.

3. Tag your posts appropriately with rating and story abbreviation. All fics must be rated for content and tagged as such. NC-17 ratings must have the text behind an LJ cut. You also need to tag your story with the appropriate four letter canon story abbreviation, usually the first four letters of the title. A complete list of abbreviations can be found here.

4. Post headers should be as follows. Your title and author's notes are optional, and warnings are as needed. Don't bother warning for slash.
