The whole thing looks so oddly beautiful - with the messages in blocks, stacked up one upon another. Until you remember of course how sinister the little dancing men really are ^^"

Agreed. Ignoring what the messages say, they do look rather cute.

For me, it gave another perspective on the story. My messages were rather long but writing them didn’t take a long time. So it would be easy to sneak in and out of wherever to write them. It was also way easier to write on a smooth surface compared to rock (this is sort of no duh, but didn’t realize it until I did it). Writing on the shed door and windowsill would have been easier.
I was writing on the art building and bridges on campus, and no one questioned me. I found it rather disappointing because I already prepared my excuse of doing performance art. ;)

It's fascinating that not only did you physically write out the messages like Slaney and Elsie, you were doing them in (semi-)public places where you might have been 'caught'. It really does add a whole new layer to your story - performance art is exactly the term for it ^_^

I’ll take that as a compliment. My photoshop skills are limited to removing backgrounds and changing color (points to original post icon).

Maybe I should have described that in the original post. Oh well, all will be revealed in the comments. :) BTW, It was really cold that day (<40F) thus I even froze for my art! Drama!
