For me, it gave another perspective on the story. My messages were rather long but writing them didn’t take a long time. So it would be easy to sneak in and out of wherever to write them. It was also way easier to write on a smooth surface compared to rock (this is sort of no duh, but didn’t realize it until I did it). Writing on the shed door and windowsill would have been easier.
I was writing on the art building and bridges on campus, and no one questioned me. I found it rather disappointing because I already prepared my excuse of doing performance art. ;)

It really does add a whole new layer to your story - performance art is exactly the term for it ^_^
